Judging:
At the beginning of each match, you are given a base of 50 points. To earn those 50 points, each person needs to post at least five times in character. At least three posts of those need to be actual fighting. You're only allowed one hit per post. Each fighting post (the ones with the hits in them) will be judged on a scale from 1-10 points. We'll be grading on creativity and style so make them count!
30 points: Luck of the dice!
A dice is rolled for each person 5 times. That gives a possibility of 30 total points. They're completely random and they give anyone the opportunity to win.
Duel status: The character can gain or lose additional points through these:
+10 if the character's been actively posting for over a month
+5 if the character has two duel wins under his/her belt
+10 if the character has four or more duel wins under his/her belt
-5 for noticeable bad spelling/grammar
-10 for powerplaying or any unfair plays
+5 if your character leads a werewolf pack, a vampire clan, a mage guild, a school of mermaids or a club of PowerRun powered
-2 if your character has recently contracted a disease - diseases generally take a week to cycle through the system of werewolves, vampires, or PowerRun powered with healing factors - the week will be counted after the end of a thread in which the disease is contracted.
If either competitor doesn't respond to the challenge thread within 3 days of the last post, he/she automatically loses. Understood?
Additional Rules:
- you must issue a challenge in communications or another such board to the opponent, and also make a beginning post wherever you are fighting them
- Opponents can only be challenged once every two weeks. They need to rest from their previous battles.
- You can only have one duel thread going at a time.
- You cannot battle for a person. You can battle for their affection, BUT you MUST get permission from the user who plays that character before you battle for the affection.
- If you have agreed to a challenge, you have three days to respond to the thread. If you do not respond during that time, you forfeit by default
- No-one except those battling are allowed to post in the thread. This makes it easier for us to judge.
- No OOC posts during a battle. You are allowed to add OOC notes to a battle post of yours however. Again, this makes judging easier.
